FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 7, 2005: ePluribus Media researchers demonstrate that the official fillings for the Thomas Noe business that incorporated one of the controversial coin funds in the Coingate scandal are no longer in working order, possibly limiting the legal protections afforded him just when he needs them the most. ePM offers a brief snapshot of Noe’s business partners, including an intriguing glimpse at an unnamed partner who owned a large portion of Thomas Noe, Inc. A timeline of corporate filings depicts the evolution of Noe’s many business ventures.
It appears that the trade name “Vintage Coins and Cards” was allowed to lapse as of February 14, 2005, putting into question the legal protections Thomas Noe is provided in the Coingate investigation. Divorce documents from the 1995 divorce of Thomas and Elizabeth Noe reveal that Noe has a partner in Thomas Noe, Inc, whose name is redacted from the documents. Other Noe current and former partners are under grand jury investigation in the alleged Bush campaign money-laundering fraud.
Philip Curtis traces the convoluted path of Noe’s coin companies in “Coingate: Fund Facts to Know and Tell,” a diary posted at DailyKos.com today. The entire story is available at: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/6/7/102818/6024
